Biography
Professor Qiu Feiyue, male, born in 1965, holds a Ph.D. in Engineering and is a second-level Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the College of Education, Zhejiang University of Technology. He previously served as Dean of the School of Education (now the College of Education) and is currently a core member of the university's educational technology team. He received his B.A. in Mathematics from Jilin University in 1986 and his Ph.D. in Control Theory and Control Engineering in 2006. He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California (2008), the University of Hull (2010), and Ohio State University (2014). His research areas include intelligent education and big data mining, intelligent control and computer vision, vocational education and educational informatization, teacher development, and marine education. He has been selected for the first level of the Zhejiang Province "151 Talent Project." He serves as Vice Chairman of the National Computer-Aided Education (CBE) Association and Vice Chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Higher Education Institution Educational Technology Association, and is a member of the Vocational Education Expert Group of the National Education Master's Teaching Steering Committee. He has received the Second Prize of the Zhejiang Province Science and Technology Award and the Third Prize of the Zhejiang Province Outstanding Research Achievement Award in Education.
